Japan Society of Monetary Economics (JSME) and Korea Money and Finance Association (KMFA) will jointly host a conference on the theme “Financial Markets in East Asia” in Kyoto on January 31, 2026. At the joint conference, three papers from JSME and three papers from KMFA will be presented.

Accordingly, as outlined in the Call for Papers, we are now inviting paper submissions from the members of JSME (For the members of KMFA, please contact KMFA). The submission deadline is October 31, 2025, after which the organizers will select the papers to be presented.

Papers presented at the conference, followed by a peer-review process, will be considered for publication in a special issue of Japan and the World Economy scheduled for release in December 2026.

We look forward to receiving many submissions from both JSME and KMFA members.
